What’s cuter than an Easter basket? A personalized one with these cutie Easter basket tags! Here are the materials you’ll need and how to make ’em:
What You’ll Need:
- Acrylic Easter shapes
- Acrylic paint of your choice (I get mine at Michael’s and Walmart)
- Small foam craft brush and/or small craft paint brushes
- Cutting machine & white vinyl, or rubber stamps & white ink, or letter stickers
- Transfer tape, if you’re using vinyl *linking the exact kind I use & love
Step 1: If you buy the acrylic shapes I have linked, they will appear cloudy or frosted. Don’t worry — That’s just the protective film on both sides. Definitely be sure to remove this film before you get started.
Step 2: Cut out your name/script using your cutting machine. If you don’t have a cutting machine, you could also use a white ink pad and small rubber stamps or sticker letters.
Step 3: Using transfer tape, apply your name to one side of your acrylic tag (making sure you took off the tag’s film backing).
Step 4: Flip your tag over and paint the other side. I did a few different variations. Some I did color swatches, some I painted completely, and some I sponge painted. Sky’s the limit! My four-year-old even made a few of these with me! Just add a pretty ribbon or chunky yarn to tie to your kiddo’s Easter basket, and you’re done! 🙂
