It’s Teacher Appreciation week! And if you’re in need of a last-minute gift idea, I gotchu. My four-year-old daughter has a total of eight teachers, floating teachers, and directors! They all play a special role in Evie’s school day, so we wanted to do something super thoughtful for each. Keep reading for all the details and links to Evie’s pre-k teacher appreciation gifts. 😃
What You’ll Need:
- Acrylic bookmarks
- Teacher Appreciation printable
- Washi tape or regular tape
- Cutting machine
- Vinyl or letter stickers
- Transfer tape
- Cute pencil tag printable
- Chunky yarn or ribbon (I got mine at Joann Fabrics)
Step 1: Buy your notebooks and bookmarks. The notebooks I got come in either an 8 or 16 pack off Amazon (linking here), but any notebooks will do. The acrylic bookmarks are also from Amazon and come in a pack of 15 (linking here). They also include tassels.
Step 2: Find a teacher appreciation printable. Mine was an instant download off Etsy (linking here), but you could also find some free ones on Pinterest, I’m sure. Once you have your printable printed out, have your child fill it out or help them fill it out if they’re too little to write (like my daughter).
Step 3: Use washi tape or regular tape to tape the printable on the inside of the notebook cover.
Step 4: I made the bookmarks with my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine, but you could also just use letter stickers! I applied two layers of pink and white vinyl with my transfer tape (linking my all-time favorite) and added the tassels. **Make sure you remove the protective film from both sides of your bookmarks before you begin!
Step 5: Time for a cute tag! Again, you can easily find one off Pinterest which is where I found this free printable.
Step 6: Now you’re ready to put everything together! Use chunky yarn or ribbon to wrap the notebook like a present. Before you tie the bow, string on your bookmark and tag. Ta da!
Such a cute and simple teacher appreciation gift idea! Evie had so much fun personalizing which teacher got which color notebook and bookmark tassel, and I can’t wait for her to bring them to school this week. Hope you ladies love ’em! For all the teachers and staff at Evie’s pre-school, we love and appreciate you! And for all the teachers out there, thank you — Us parents are so grateful for all you do and the roles you play in our children’s lives.
Happy Teacher Appreciation week!
