Experiencing the magic of Christmas through the eyes of my four year old makes this time of year my absolute favorite! With 10 days until Christmas, she is already excited for Santa to visit, so we are getting ready for him with this cute DIY Santa milk & cookie tray. (A little sweet tooth bribery to solidify her spot on the nice list never hurt nobody.)
I used a workshop kit from Home Deport to make ours, but you could just as easily use a wooden tray from the Dollar Tree! Here’s how to make one:
What You’ll Need:
- Small wood tray from Dollar Tree or any craft store
- Acrylic paint
- Small Foam Craft Brush
- Cutting machine & white vinyl, or purchase stencils/letter stickers already made
- Transfer tape; linking the exact kind I use & love
How To:
Step 1: Paint your tray whatever color(s) you’d like using acrylic paint. I had my daughter help me with this part. 🙂

Step 2: Find or make a cute decal with your cutting machine, or use letter stickers, stencils, or stamps! I found this cute picture off Etsy, and cut it out using white permanent vinyl.

Step 3: Once your tray is fully dry, transfer your design to your tray using transfer tape, and you’re done!

How can Santa not give Evie all the presents now; I mean c’mon..!
